National Healthcare Decisions Day

Have you ever wondered how you or your loved ones would handle end of life decisions? The topic may not be top of mind for most, but it’s important for all Americans to ensure that their future healthcare choices are known and protected.

A recent ABC News story highlighting “The Conversation Project” points out the benefits of having this important conversation by eliminating doubt and guess work when it comes to decisions made at the end of life. Queen City Hospice & Palliative Care along with Brookdale Senior Living can help you facilitate the conversation by joining us on April 17th for our National Healthcare Decisions Day.

Healthcare professionals, clergy and legal professionals will be on hand to guide you through this brief, but important process. Our panel of experts will discuss advanced directives, living wills and how to appoint a health care power of attorney. You’ll learn how these important documents can help save your family time, money and heartache. It’s a great opportunity to get all of your questions answered.
The event is free to attend and starts from 9am to 4pm at the Springfield Township Senior Center, 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
