Use an Insulated Water Bottle-Having cold water handy at all times will increase the likeliness you will drink your daily recommended amount which for seniors is around 60 fluid ounces or 7 cups of water!

Cut down on caffeine and soda-type drinks-Caffeine can actually cause dehydration. Small amounts of caffeine are ok but drinking too much can be counterproductive to your hydration plan!

Eat watery foods in the summer-Fruits and vegetables such as watermelon and cucumbers have a high-water content and are perfect snacking foods in the summer!

Try fruit infused water-Lemon water is especially healthy but adding your favorite berries can help with those who do not like the taste of plain water.
