Fun Fall Activities for Seniors In Cincinnati, OH

It’s officially Fall and there is no better place to be than the mid-west during these magical fall foliage months. It is home to so many events and festivals that you could be busy in October, November, and December. How do you keep your aging loved ones active during this time? Here are some great ideas for taking your senior out to see fall in Cincinnati!

Crafts – There are many craft classes that are designed specifically for seniors. These classes can be found in local libraries and senior centers, or they can be found online with sites like Craftsy.com.

Outings – There are also outdoor outings available that cater to older adults. Some examples include visiting local farms or vineyards, where you can learn about agriculture and winemaking. You could also go on a hike at your local state park or go bird watching!

Fall Festivals and Fairs-The city host several festivals every year, including the Taste of Cincinnati, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, and the Cincinnati Wine Festival. These events are a great way for seniors to get out and enjoy themselves while meeting new people. Seniors may also enjoy the arts festivals that take place during the season.
